Your Safety Continues to be Our Priority

LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. Our clinics continue to follow strict cleaning and disinfection protocols, physical distancing and personal protective measures to ensure our community stays healthy.  We thank all of our staff and members for their cooperation with these procedures to reduce the risk in our clinics.

As new case numbers rise, there may be a need for some clinics to close their doors temporarily to help reduce the spread in their communities. We have been proactively planning for such closures since the beginning of the pandemic to ensure that we can continue to provide our membership services and contribute to the health and vibrancy of our communities. In the event that a decision is made to close your location temporarily, your clinic team will deliver your exercise sessions to you via live streaming so that there is no interruption in your program.

The goal of our live streaming feature is to provide you with all of the benefits of your LIVE WELL membership:
● To keep you active and progressing in your exercises;
● To provide you with healthy lifestyle coaching;
● To keep you connected with the support of your LIVE WELL community.

We are ready to rise to this challenge with you and ensure that, in the event of a closure, your exercise sessions and program are uninterrupted so that you can continue to maintain all the health benefits you have worked so hard to achieve. Our entire LIVE WELL family is in this together.


Our Enhanced Safety Program


Cleaning Program

We have added additional procedures to our cleaning program in addition to our already stringent disinfecting protocols.  Disinfecting products used in our clinics are Health Canada approved virucides.

Deep Cleaning

  • Scheduled deep cleaning of all surfaces and equipment twice daily.

Continuous Cleaning

  • Continuous scheduled disinfection of high-touch surfaces and equipment throughout your exercise session and between session times.


  • Easy, readily available disinfectant spray bottles, disposable gloves, and disposable paper towels so you can disinfect your equipment before and after each use
  • Hand sanitizer located throughout the clinic
  • Hand washing station 

Physical Distancing

We are following current provincial capacity and physical distancing guidelines in order to ensure our members have the space to feel safe. Look for extra signs to guide you through the space and help us all practice appropriate distancing.

Fitness Floor & Reception

  • Fitness and reception floor will have highly visible, colorful floor markers to make it easy to maintain appropriate distancing

Session Size

  • Please only attend a session that you are registered in.

Contactless Payment

  • In-clinic debit and credit payments will be processed using our contactless point-of-sale.  Cash or cheque payments can only be accepted when provided in the exact currency and within an envelope. 

Team Member Health & Safety

We are dedicated to the health and safety of our community, including our team members.

Contact and Distancing

  • Our teams will be following the required guidelines for contact and distancing with all members and each other


  • Staff will wear masks when physical distance can not be maintained. We are following provincial fitness guidelines to guide our members' mask usage. Pleaase look for signage in your local clinic.

Health Screening

  • Every team member is required to self-monitor and assess their health on a daily basis for COVID-19 symptoms.


Enhanced Training

Our teams have undergone additional training for the enhanced cleaning, distancing and safety protocols so that every member can feel safe, comfortable and cared for.

Cleaning Protocols

  • Detailed checklists for deep cleaning and continuous cleaning
  • Proper usage of Health Canada approved disinfectant that is effective against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19)

Distancing Protocols

  • Training on facilitating proper distancing during sessions, during transitions and in all areas of the clinic

Health & Safety

  • Training on proper usage of cleaning materials, gloves, masks, face shields, and temperature checks
  • Training on self-assessment and self pre-screening procedures required for all team members before each shift

For MEMBERS: How to be prepared 

One-time Vaccine Passport Check


In order to ensure everyone’s health and safety, we are asking you to help us be prepared for each exercise session in the following ways:

  1. Be symptom free.
    Please do not attend your exercise session if you are feeling unwell with any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms please contact your local healthcare services. 

  2. Vaccine Passport
    If vaccination passports are required by the province, we ask that you come prepared with your Vaccine Passport as we are required to do this one-time check. Any one attending a session at LIVE WELL must be vaccinated against COVID-19 in British Columbia as of September 13th and Ontario as of September 20, 2021.

Session Transitions Times

Our goal is to minimize the number of people in our clinic at any given time.  We also need some time to disinfect the clinic between sessions, we will be implementing the following measures to ensure your health and safety.

  1. Arrive no more than five!
    Please arrive no more than five minutes before your registered session time. We will be keeping the doors locked between sessions to limit access and to ensure safe physical distancing between sessions. 

  2. Bring only what you need.
    It is highly recommended that you bring only the essentials.  Come dressed for exercise, bring a full water bottle, and your mask to wear at all times.


Exercise Session Times

Session times will be structured so that we can control the flow of traffic through the clinic and to ensure physical distancing by minimizing incidental contact between session times. This time will also allow for increased disinfecting measures of the exercise space and high touch areas. 

  1. Attend your registered sessions.
    Please register for and attend your sessions at the time shown in your member portal.  Any adjustments to your session time will be clearly communicated to you in advance. 

  2. Move your sessions.
    You can move your sessions up to four (4) hours before it starts to a more convenient session time if you want to.
